Product Description
Based on immunoelectrophoresis, the antibody reacts with whole molecule human IgG. It also reacts with the light chains of other human immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. The antibody may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.
Physical State: Freeze-dried solid Storage: Store freeze-dried powder at 2-8°C. When ready to use, rehydrate with indicated volume of d. water and centrifuge if not clear. Product is stable for about 6 weeks at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. Prepare working dilution fresh each day. For extended storage after rehydration, aliquot and freeze undiluted product at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Expiration date: one year from date of rehydration. However, the expiration date may be extended if the product is stored according to the recommendation and the test results are acceptable for its intended use.
Purity: The antibody was delipidated and ammonium sulfate fractionated from whole antiserum. Buffer: 0.01M Sodium Phosphate, 0.25M NaCl, pH 7.6 Preservative: 0.05% Sodium Azide

FAQs of Rabbit Anti-Human IgG (H+L):
Q: How should I store Rabbit Anti-Human IgG (H+L) for optimal stability?
A: The antibody should be stored at 2-8C for short-term use or at -20C for longer periods. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve its activity and integrity.
Q: What applications is this antibody suitable for?
A: Rabbit Anti-Human IgG (H+L) is ideal for ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Western Blot assays. It is commonly used as a secondary antibody for detecting human IgG proteins.
Q: When should I use the unconjugated variant versus labeled options?
A: The unconjugated version is suitable when you plan to add your own detection system or optimize sensitivity. Check product variants for conjugated options if your experiment requires direct signal detection.
Q: Where is the lot number provided for quality assurance?
A: The specific lot number is available upon request from the distributor, supplier, or manufacturer. This ensures traceability and quality control for your research.
Q: What are the benefits of using this polyclonal antibody over monoclonal types?
A: Polyclonal antibodies recognize multiple epitopes on human IgG, providing enhanced signal amplification and sensitivity in immunodetection assays compared to monoclonals.
Q: How is the quality of this antibody assessed?
A: Quality control is performed using ELISA and Western Blot assays. The antibody is certified to have a purity of 95% by SDS-PAGE and endotoxin levels below 1 EU/ml.
