Reconstitution and Storage: Store freeze-dried powder at 2-8°C. When ready to use, rehydrate with 2.0 ml dH2O and centrifuge if
not clear. Product is stable for about 6 weeks at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. Prepare working dilution fresh each day. For
extended storage after rehydration, aliquot and freeze undiluted product at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Expiration date: one year from date of rehydration. The expiration date may be extended if test results are acceptable for the
intended use.
Purity: The antibody was delipidated and ammonium sulfate fractionated from whole antiserum.
Antibody Specificity: Based on immunoelectrophoresis, the antibody reacts with whole molecule guinea pig IgG. It also reacts with
the light chains of other guinea pig immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. The
antibody may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.
Country of Origin: USA
Note: For in vitro research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This product is not a medical device
Key Advantages of Donkey Anti-Guinea Pig IgGThis antibody delivers reliable performance across multiple laboratory techniques, such as ELISA, Western blot, and immunohistochemistry. Its broad reactivity with guinea pig IgG ensures consistent secondary detection, essential for robust research outcomes. Manufactured to research-grade standards and supported by a detailed Certificate of Analysis, it ensures reproducibility and confidence for scientific investigations.
Optimal Usage and Handling RecommendationsTo maximize antibody stability and activity, store the product at 2-8C for regular use or at -20C for long-term storage. Prepare only the amount needed for immediate use and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. This secondary antibody is intended strictly for research applications, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
FAQs of Donkey Anti-Guinea Pig IgG (H+L):
Q: How should I store Donkey Anti-Guinea Pig IgG (H+L) to ensure its stability?
A: For best stability, store this antibody at 2-8C for short-term use. If you intend to store it for an extended duration, keep it at -20C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity.
Q: What are the recommended applications for this antibody?
A: Donkey Anti-Guinea Pig IgG (H+L) is optimized for ELISA, Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and other immunological assays involving guinea pig samples.
Q: When should I request a Certificate of Analysis and what does it include?
A: You can request a Certificate of Analysis at any time to confirm batch-specific data, including purity, concentration, and quality testing results for your purchased vial.
Q: Where can this antibody be used safely?
A: This product is for use only in controlled laboratory environments by trained personnel, as it is strictly intended for research purposes and not for clinical or diagnostic use.
Q: What benefits does the polyclonal nature of this secondary antibody offer?
A: As a polyclonal antibody, it recognizes multiple epitopes on guinea pig IgG, providing higher sensitivity and consistent signal in detection assays.
Q: What is the main process for using this antibody in experiments?
A: The general process involves diluting the antibody to the required concentration in PBS, incubating with your target, followed by appropriate detection steps specific to your chosen assay, such as ELISA or Western blot.
Q: How does this antibody benefit my immunodetection workflows?
A: With high specificity and purity (95%), it ensures robust signal detection and minimizes background, enhancing the clarity and reliability of your experimental results.
