Product Description

Polyclonal antisera from immunized hosts are lipid extracted to improve clarity, salt fractionated, dialyzed against phosphate buffered saline containing sodium azide and freeze-dried. Antisera against whole serums are obtained by immunizing host animals with whole serum. Antisera against whole IgG molecules [i.e. Anti-IgG (H+L)] are recommended for bridging PAP to primary antibodies.

Based on immunoelectrophoresis, the antibody reacts with the Fc portion of human IgG heavy chain but not with the Fab portion of human immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against human IgM or IgA, or against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. The antibody may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.

Physical State: Freeze-dried solid
Storage: Store freeze-dried powder at 2-8°C. When ready to use, rehydrate with indicated volume of d. water and centrifuge if not clear. Product is stable for about 6 weeks at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. Prepare working dilution fresh each day. For extended storage after rehydration, aliquot and freeze undiluted product at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Expiration date: one year from date of rehydration. However, the expiration date may be extended if the product is stored according to the recommendation and the test results are acceptable for its intended use.

Purity: The antibody was delipidated and ammonium sulfate fractionated from whole antiserum.
Buffer: 0.01M Sodium Phosphate, 0.25M NaCl, pH 7.6
Preservative: 0.05% Sodium Azide

High Specificity for Reliable Results

Targeting the Fc fragment of human IgG, this goat-derived polyclonal antibody delivers dependable performance in detecting human IgG, minimizing cross-reactivity with non-target proteins. Its precision ensures valid and reproducible outcomes for both qualitative and quantitative immunological applications.

Seamless Integration into Multiple Assays

This antibody is highly versatile, recommended for a broad dilution range compatible with ELISA (1:10,0001:100,000) and Western blot (1:1,0001:10,000) applications. Its robust formulation and sterility make it suitable for diverse experimental protocols including immunohistochemistry and other immunoassays.

Superior Quality and Durability

Manufactured to biotechnology grade standards, the antibody exceeds 95% purity and features low endotoxin levels, maximizing safety and efficacy. Its shelf life is 12 months when stored at 2-8C, supporting long-term research and diagnostic workflows.

FAQs of Goat Anti-Human IgG, Fc fragment specific:

Q: How should Goat Anti-Human IgG, Fc fragment specific antibody be stored for optimal longevity?

A: For best stability and functionality, store the antibody at 2-8C. Under these conditions, it retains its activity for up to 12 months.

Q: What applications is this antibody most suitable for?

A: This antibody is ideal for various immunological applications, including ELISA, Western Blot, immunohistochemistry, and detection of human IgG Fc fragments in research and diagnostics.

Q: When is it appropriate to use this antibody as a primary or secondary antibody?

A: It is typically employed as a secondary antibody for detection of human IgG Fc fragments, based on the needs of the experimental protocol.

Q: Where can I use this antibody in research or diagnostic workflows?

A: It is widely applicable in laboratories, research institutions, and diagnostic centers that require precise detection of the human IgG Fc fragment in a variety of sample types.

Q: What is the recommended dilution for ELISA and Western Blot assays?

A: For ELISA, dilute between 1:10,000 and 1:100,000. For Western Blot, use a dilution of 1:1,000 to 1:10,000, allowing flexibility based on sensitivity requirements.

Q: How is the antibodys specificity and purity verified?

A: The antibodys specificity is ensured by immunizing goats with the human IgG Fc fragment, and purity surpasses 95%, confirmed by SDS-PAGE analysis.

Q: What benefits does the low endotoxin and high purity provide?

A: Low endotoxin levels minimize background interference and cytotoxicity, while high purity ensures selective and accurate detection for reliable experimental results.
